The web site Rock&Pop Chile has announced a show from the band Men At Work at the Festival de Viña 2024, which happens between February, 25th and March, 1st in Viña Del Mar. This would be Colin Hay‘s first show in the South America since the Brazilian tour in 2011. He also has not been in Chile for 25 years.
Since 2019, Colin Hay started to do some shows using his former band’s name. At the set list, great hits from Men At Work such as “Who Can It Be Now?“, “Down Under“, “Overkill“, “It’s A Mistake” and “Everything I Need“, and lesser known songs from their three studio albums: “Business As Usual” (1981), “Cargo” (1983) and “Two Hearts” (1985), beside some of Colin Hay‘s solo material.
If the formation is the same from previous years, the band will have Colin Hay (vocals and guitar), Cecilia Noël (vocals and percussion), San Miguel Perez (guitar and tres), Yosmel Montejo (bass), Scheila Gonzalez (saxophones e keyboard) e Jimmy Branly (drums).
