Colin Hay postponed solo tour dates for 2021

Colin Hay announced through his social media profiles that he is postponing the solo tour dates for 2021, because of the Coronavirus threat. He also mentioned that a new album will be released this year, before he returns to perform live. Read Colin’s statement below:

“Hey everyone, Colin here.

I have been playing across the west this month and as things have progressed, there are obviously increasing health concerns, regarding large crowd gatherings.

For this reason, in consultation with my booking agent, and promoters, we have decided to postpone all our shows this weekend (Friday March 13th, till Sunday March 15th, 2020), to March 19, 20, and 21 2021.

We are doing this out of respect for the health and welfare of all involved. We are in process of rescheduling the rest of our SOLO tour this year March 26-May 10, 2020 into 2021. The good news is I plan to be out with my fantastic band this August 2020.

I apologize for this, I hate postponing shows, and I look forward to seeing you all at a later and safer date. The only thing I’ll promise, is that the shows will be better, I’ll have a new record, and I’ll make sure my fingers hit the right strings.

All tickets will be honored at the rescheduled dates.

Peace and love,
Colin”
